Program Note:

This short work for flute was chosen as a finalist in the 2010 Duo Solo Emerging Composer Competition and had its European premiere (my first international performance) at the Cortona Sessions for New Music in Cortona, Italy. The first movement is quiet and other-worldly, while the second is flirtatious and fun. The final movement is full of frantic energy, flutter tonguing, and foot stomps.
